In his mortal life he had been much less forgiving than he was now. He had been and was a judge now, and he could find himself being much more objective, most of the time anyway. Every so often the dark side of him took over and he could be a terrible asshole for several days. At the moment, however, his dark side was nowhere to be seen. The hurt he had suffered from Pasiphae's 'betrayal' had been lessened by centuries.

"The gods play with mortals without a second thought," he said, avoiding that it had been all his fault, really. And he had then imprisoned her child in a labyrinth. He hadn't been very forgiving, and now was his chance to be so. "Hey," he paused in their progress so he could pull her towards him. He turned to face her and he gave her a kind smile. "Don't ever think I would want nothing to do with you."
