WHO: Pasiphae and Minos
WHAT: Meeting again
WHEN: Tuesday evening

Minos had heard of the place from Arthur Pendragon, a lawyer he occasionally worked with who was also an immortal. He stopped in now once a week to see if he could find anyone he knew and hoping against hope he might find his family there. It had been far too long since he had seen any of them. His wife or his children, hell he would even be happy to see any of the half-siblings he got along with. And if he didn't find anyone, he could still have a nice drink surrounded by people like him.

As usual, when he entered he didn't see anyone he recognised from home. With an accepting sigh he ordered a whiskey and coke and took a seat to enjoy his drink.

Minos buried his face in her neck and he brushed his teeth against her skin as the heat built within him. Pasiphae tightened around him and Minos groaned as he reached climax, her movements pushing him over the edge.

Pasiphae groaned loudly. It wasn't until he would stop moving that she stopped, exhausted and set her head back against the bed.

Her eyes closed, a hand pressed to her forehead. It had been how long since she had been with him? She was going to be sore tomorrow. Her breathing was still heavy but at least it was slowly down.

Minos rolled off of her and he lay beside her, trying to regain his breath as well. He chuckled and flung an arm over his forehead before reaching down to take her hand in his again as well. "Was not expecting that tonight, I have to say," he said with a lazy smile on his face.

Pasiphae could have gone right to sleep, but it was the need to know this wasn't all just a dream. A wonderfully seductive dream. Her eyes opened slowly and she now looked up at the ceiling. Yep, an unfamiliar place. She glanced over to him and smiled. Yes, that was most certainly her Minos. She felt weak and numb and wonderful. She hadn't realized how much stress her body had been holding onto until just now. She held onto his hand, finally catching her breath. "It's been ages. I'm going to be so sore in the morning," she laughed.

It had not been ages for him and all at once he felt a strange sort of fleeting guilt that was gone as soon as it had shown up. He planted a kiss on her hair and breathed, "stay with me?" to her. He didn't say if he meant for the night or forever.

Finally she was able to breathe normally again. She turned to her side to see him. "Of course I'll stay," she said quietly. Her hand moved up to touch his face. It was all still so surreal that she couldn't help staring at him, taking in every feature she had been without for so long.

He leaned in to plant a soft kiss on her lips and then he leaned back against the bed, sated and peaceful. "You are amazing, just like I remember," he said gently. "Do you want to take a bath? Would that help with the soreness?"

She smiled shyly at his compliment. "As are you," she whispered. She nodded at his suggestion, "You know, that does sound nice." She sat up slowly and breathed in deeply. "Which way?"

The bathroom was an ensuite and the bath was large enough for four, so Minos was of a mind to join her if she was keen. "I'll show you," he said, standing and extending a hand to her. He led her into the bathroom which was luxurious to say the least, and he went to run the bath. "Would mind joining you. Just to relax."

Taking his hand, she stood up and then followed. The place was enormous and the bathroom certainly fit right in. "Of course you can. This thing looks big enough for a small family," she said with a chuckle. When it was high enough she stepped into the water and settled in comfortably before reaching for him to join her. She needed one of these at her place.

Minos was especially proud of his bathroom. The bath was in the middle of the room, and it was the strange placement that had drawn him to the apartment in the first place. It had been a bath that had killed him and so having a bath he could get out of at any angle was the only way he would ever get in one. He never turned on the jets when he was in the water as he just became convinced that the water was boiling. Others enjoyed the jets though, and he let them.

As ever, he left his bathroom door propped open with a rather large rock before slipping into the warm water. He didn't let his death keep him from something so simple, but he wasn't taking any chances either.

Fucking Daedalus.

"It was the size that drew me to it," he smiled and drew her near. "The size and the many escape routes."

They were used to even larger baths, but in this day and age they were a luxury to the rich or hotel-goers. She hadn't even thought yet about his death. But when he propped the door with a rock she looked at him curiously. Everyone had their quirks, but that seemed very ritualistic to her.

And it wasn't until the last thing he said that made her realize. Even as she moved in closer she looked back to the rock and then at the position of the bath and noted how it wasn't touching any walls. Escape routes, of course.

"Well, right now you have nothing to fear," she said quietly and kissed him.

He leaned down to kiss her shoulder and then he rested his back against the edge of the tub. "No. Nothing to fear and everything to be grateful for."

As they sat there enjoying the warm water Pasiphae felt her eyes growing heavier. She was glad to be staying at least that night. She wasn't sure she could make it back to her place awake. At least she kept a change of clothes in her classroom in case of accidents so she wouldn't have to hurry home in the morning. "Very grateful. I haven't felt this happy in a long time," she said quietly, her head still resting comfortably against his shoulder.

"Me neither," he admitted, holding her close so if she fell asleep she wouldn't slip into the water. "Me neither."

Having both Minos and Ariadne back, in a matter of days, made her feel almost complete again. It gave her a purpose. She sighed with contentment. Before she knew it her eyes did close and sleep overcame her.
