Zoe kinda wanted to almost cry she was that turned around. Her eyes closed when he kissed her aggressively and she didn't know how to respond at first, not knowing if he'd be pushing her away in the next second. But her heart rate sped up and she gripped the front of his shirt with her hands. She'd never felt like this about anyone before and it put her in a vulnerable spot, he could so easily crush her.. but she kissed him back because she trusted him not to.
Maybe she'd regret it later. She probably would regret it later. But right now, she just wanted to pretend she could keep him and that everything was going to be okay.
