WHAT: Husband and Wife remeetings of the Norse variety.

There was a chill in the air this morning as Idunn pulled the truck up at the back of the store. Just past nine, it was a later delivery than she would usually make, but if that was what the owner wanted then Idunn could do it. The owner came out to greet her and they chatted for a while, talking mostly about this new building he'd moved his fruit store into. It was the first time she'd delivered here and she didn't know the area very well.

By the time she was done unpacking the crates from the back of the truck and doing all the necessary paperwork, it was nearing eleven and instead of heading back upstate, Idunn decided that coffee and morning tea was the way to go. She'd have to wander around a bit to find somewhere, but it seemed worth it. She was in no hurry anyway.

She thought, when she entered the coffeeshop, that one of her own kind was nearby. To Idunn other Norse being nearby brought that crisp taste of apples of her tongue, but sometimes she got that feeling anyway. Being the goddess of the apples meant she was rather abundant in all tastes and smells apple-related. She brushed it away and joined the line, feeling underdressed in her now slightly-dirty casual clothes and messy bun.
