After feeding Greed and some more awkward conversation, Gabe said he was going to bed. Zoe had made sure to keep some distance between her and Greed while Gabe had been there. Giving the bigger dude several apologetic looks every time he frowned or set his jaw. But they hadn't come to blows and she was grateful for that at least. She got a kiss on the head from Gabe as a goodnight and Greed got a cold glare and the guy was gone.
Zoe could hear the storm raging outside so Greed couldn't go home and she'd never send him out in this mess. "Um... would you consider sleeping on the couch..?" since she didn't know how appropriate it was to have him in her room with Gabe just down the hall. But right after she asked, the lights suddenly snapped out again and she jumped, quickly closing the small amount of space between her and Greed on the sofa and grabbing his arm while she ducked her head.
