Zoe looked surprised and slowly smiled, "You did..?" she seemed excited though, she couldn't contain it. She liked the idea of being with him without him turning into a bonfire.
She laughed a little and shook her head, "Chance, no! You're not listening." she hit his chest with her fists lightly and gave him an exasperated look, "I'm saying what if you think it's going to be one way and it's not. What if you're disappointed? Or.." she looked troubled as another thought came to her, which was sort of worse than the first and she looked at him, "What if you won't want me anymore after you finally have me..?" she knew it was one of the reasons he liked her so much. Kansas would change everything.
