Big blue eyes stared back at her like a mirror. The more she explained the more he hated her for being able to have that. But he had her, so it was as close as he'd get to having it. She made him someone else, he wanted to understand and emulate, but he wasn't emulating--it was the real puppy love in the only way a sin coupd have it. It was his sinlyness that would ultimately ruin it.

He leaned in for a kiss. "I want cake."
