Despite revisions taking over her life, when she'd heard Aoife was kind of breaking she'd packed up to spend time with her friend. Well cousin now, but it still counted. She was glad Aoife had felt safe enough to find Victor, because Kat didn't want to think of how Aoife could have hurt herself.

Grief made you do strange things, or at least so she'd heard. She hadn't gone through it, and she didn't want to for a good long time.

She'd called the pizza place before she'd left so she'd been able to pick up dinner on her way there. She'd dug into her funds for her costume for it, but she'd been fine with that. She shifted her bag on her back and held the pizza's with one hand as she'd run Victor's doorbell and smiled at him when he opened it.

"Pizza as promised. The good kind. Pizza Hut is the work of demons." Once he'd taken the boxes she'd step inside, hoping Aoife knew that she was here to help. It'd be a touch awkward otherwise.

"Totally. Next time I knock on the door and he answers, I will bite him so he remembers."

"I'm not sure this is my favourite plan," he laughed. "But you do have a good point, not many zombies would ring a bell. There was a movie where one used a camera though."

"Oh god, zombie facebook photos!" Aoife wailed and pretended to cry.

"Truly, the saddest thing that will exist during the zombie apocalypse. Also, please don't bite him. I kind of like him." She wondered if Aoife's mother knew her daughter was okay, but seeing there wasn't a legion banging down the door she figured Aphrodite was probably not very worried.

"Well alright, just for you," Aoife winked at Kat and Victor felt a bit warm and fuzzy inside.

"He let me have his bed last night while he slept out here on a fake bed, so I suppose it would be ungrateful to bite him as well."

"I was so confused when I woke up," Victor admitted. "I didn't know where I was for a moment."

"You are so very kind." It didn't bother her Aoife had spend the night here. She was just glad her cousin was okay. "Yeah I've had that whenever I've passed out on the couch. Although it's never comfortable. And yes. Tiny bit ungrateful."

Victor refrained from mentioning he had also thought he was seeing his wife in the kitchen when it had actually been Aoife. Perhaps a conversation for another time. "I would have forgiven you. Eventually," he said with a wink.

Aoife grinned and she grabbed another slice of pizza. She should probably explain how she ended up here in the first place.

"I was just out at a club, dancing and it all hit me," she told Kat. "I thought 'I should get my phone to call dad so he doesn't worry' and then...bam."

"It's easy to forgive Aoife. She has amazing puppy eyes." She grew more serious as Aoife explained how she'd ended up here. She set her hand on her cousin's shoulder. She wasn't sure how much it would help but she was trying.

"I'm sorry Aoife. It's not enough but it's all I can say."

"There's nothing anyone can do really," Aoife said with a shrug, but she turned to kiss Kat's hand. "Victor said I should just love him as much as I ever did and remember so that's what I'm doing."

"Okay," then she hugged Aoife because it felt right to do. And she figured it may help a little. "And however I can help with that, let me know. I'll totally do it."

"I know," Aoife said with a wide grin. "You're both pretty fucking awesome," she informed them. "We should watch Star Wars!"

"I try to be," smiling she released Aoife. "I think this is a pretty good idea, just not the prequels. Those are atrocities upon mankind."
