"Dead?" Well that put a damper on things. Granted he wouldn't have been a welcome sight with him still looking as young as he had the day he'd met her. He forgot mortals were so quick to age. He'd gotten used to looking good over time. It seemed easier to just skip town with most of the women he married when they started to age and he didn't. It raised questions. It fit in with his lifestyle to jet without a second thought to the next most pleasant spot with a new life. Sophia had been one of few that actually knew what he was.
