Zoe leaned as far away from Greed's lips as she could get, holding up a finger and saying in a harsh whisper, "Don't you dare--" but as always, he did what he wanted and gave her a peck on the lips. She looked like she was going to lose it. She didn't know who to blow up at first, Greed or Theseus.
When Theseus stayed so calm about everything, he won out. But Zoe kept her cool, because despite Greed being there, and she elbowed him as hard as she could when he squeezed her closer, there was something that she wanted to ask Theseus and had been thinking about. He'd mentioned her grandmother but.. "You didn't ask about my mother." she said looking right at him. She didn't care as much about the immortal stuff at the moment. If he was her grandfather it meant that her mother had been his daughter. But in all this time, he didn't once mention her. Life was hard enough already to bring Greed to her and take the illusion of something with him away.. would Life really be so cruel as to bring her family, the one thing she wanted, and have it be uncaring?
