Sorry this is so late. I am the worst. No rush on this!Lucifer wasn't a parent. He looked after Joshua, only because the being had a part to play in the end. But when it came to actual fathering he usually ignored him. Why Satan had suddenly decided that it was super important to find their child was beyond him. As far as he knew, Joshua wasn't able to die until the Apocalypse came.
But because he liked the thought of being owed a favor from Satan he'd set out. The city was vast though and one immortal amongst many was annoying to find. In the end he set Legion out, but they'd come back with nothing. He couldn't get at the Saints, not eager to find out how much Michael wanted vengeance, but he could get at Wrath.
He'd noticed she'd become less vigilant and wary, which he felt like the perfect opportunity to strike. He figured since she was fucking a Saint, she could at least give them the courtesy of letting them know if they knew anything. If not, he was sure he could persuade her.
Legion had been good enough in their hunt and found out where Wrath worked. He could feel his brother's wards miles off and he sneered at the building before leaning in an alleyway and waiting. Eventually he waved Legion off, not wanting their particular distraction, and watched.
It didn't take too much longer before he spotted Wrath. He waited until she was before the alley before stepping in front of her. "Hello Wrath. If you run, I'll find your little Saint boyfriend and see how many times I can kill him. Be a good girl and stay."

But she couldn't give up Patrick's name.
"George and I weren't even in the fucking country until a week or so ago!" she yelled at him. "We didn't do anything to your spawn! And like fuck they would tell me if they did! They know I ratted your ass out, I clearly can't keep a fucking secret if my life depended on it!" Which it clearly had. He had killed her for that already.

He did not let go or loosen his grip. Like before, he suspected Wrath knew something worth knowing, something she protected. He wondered what it would take for her to share.
"Tell me, or you can tell him I'll find the pagan I whipped once and make sure she never comes back. That you caused it to happen."

He sighed. "Joshua can't die to my knowledge. He's important to the Last Days, and Satan isn't about to pop out another. I have no fear on his demise. Satan wants him back, and I told him I'd look. You know something, you can't lie to a liar, and if it was more dire I'd fish it out of you." He set his hands in his pockets, "if the Saints are behind this, tell them I'll burn everything precious to them and keep it dead. Principal you know. I despise Joshua but he's still mine. No one fucks with that. I can't promise what Satan will do to them. Nothing pleasant, I assume."

Was he just letting her go, just like that? "All I know is that your son is a shithead," she growled. "And I can't be sad he's missing."

He shrugged, "if he's back in a month I won't look into it. I'll make sure neither Joshua or Satan do either and Joshua doesn't take vengeance. If he's not back, all Hell will unleash, understand?"

She expected him to hurt her, so on principle he didn't. It amused him to defy expectations. "Oh and Wrath? He'll just leave you, you know. Once he sees you for what you are."

"Just go," she hissed at him.
