Zoe gave him a helpless look and then looked at the flower again before looking at him, "Alright.. but as a friend." her eyes drifted back to the silk flower and the smile she was trying to hide wouldn't be held back anymore. She twirled the stem and then looked at him, her eyes shining, obviously very touched by the simple gift. "It's beautiful. Thank you." before she could stop herself she leaned over and kissed him on the cheek.
