Satan's first thought was angry, an indignant 'The first words You speak to me in months and its some reprimand about humans? But unlike most of his anger, he couldn't hold onto this for long. He just breathed out a long, deep breath, taking a moment to hold fast to the fact that his Father had spoken at all.
"I'm sorry I threw the glass at your head," Satan murmured, in lieu of discussing what God had said.
