"Oh you know what I mean," Thomas said fondly. They had dinner together on most days though, so Jamie did have a point. "I'm just nervous. Uhm...okay so-" Thomas put his fork down and he rubbed at his eye tiredly. "It's probably a good idea to talk about the future. And I know you probably don't want to, and believe me, I don't either. But it needs to happen." Probably best to get it out of the way.
