"I don't know why either," she said a little quietly. "But asking how it all works is awesome because I love talking about it!" She grinned then, "you like me, hmm?" And she threw her hands in the air to show triumph. "I once went on a few dates with this guy who had kids, though they were younger. And they hated me because apparently I wasn't posh enough for them."
