Who: Richard the Lionheart & Alexander the Great
What: Alex is drunk and homesick, and Richard is good company

Alexander knew he was feeling slightly sorry for himself. However, he was about two or three glasses of wine past caring about that. And Richard was coming over to keep him company, so that was something. He thought, briefly, about changing into jeans or something, but he wasn't going anywhere, and his pajama pants were comfortable, so he just pulled a hoodie on over his tank top.

He puttered around the living room, rinsing out the wine bottle and putting it in the bin he had for glass, keeping himself occupied while listening for the bell.

He nudged Alex at that, but gently considering Alex was drunk, and smiled. "Hey I'm the ignorant christian here. At least I'm not referring to you as a heathen." He smiled, "it feels odd to accept it. Hell, eight hundred and some years later and I'm still trying to get used to the other gods. And being able to meet them. Ironic, considering who my best friend is."

He poked Richard in the ribs, just once. "Eh, been called worse. And you're not ignorant, shh."

"Right?" he asked. "It's weird, knowing that the city's practically crawling with them. I've met some others, from traveling for so long, but to have such a high concentration in one place is strange."
