He hadn't expected Mary, so he didn't return until later in the day. Ever so slowly he was tightening the net around the god he was hunting, having every bit the patience he needed for this. Rushing in without knowledge of his prey was foolish, and he didn't want the prey to be warned.

When he returned they told him of Mary and he walked onto the balcony. "Mary," He offered. He was a bit unsure but went to sit beside her, "I didn't expect you."
