WHAT: Sistery bonding

WHERE: Charlotte's place
If Charlotte was honest, she was terrified for her brother, Thomas. He was her hero in a lot of ways and she kind of needed him around. If he died, she honestly did not know what she would do with herself. The idea of taking responsibility of her own life without his help was...terrifying. It didn't help that her beloved father was deteriorating fast.
Charlotte was determined not to be doom and gloom. If she concentrated too much on the bad, she might break and no one wanted that. She texted her sister Madeleine and asked her to come over after Charlotte finished work. Company was a good thing on the eve of your brother' brain surgery.
She picked up a box of girly drinks, some Indian takeaway and a bunch of unhealthy snacks, and made her way home where she would wait for Maddy. At least if they got maudlin, they would be maudlin together.
