It really was better than lying around by himself, though he held back a slight innuendo. Just the thought of it made the tips of his ears colour and he cleared his throat before taking another sip of tea.
"I agree," he finally said, trying to calm himself. "I've been on my own for a long time. When there's no one else there, it's hard to stop thinking about the horrible memories."
