"I found a firm that'll help with the big things, like the statue, the couch, the bed, etc.," she replied, making his coffee and getting herself a cup of tea. "But thank you."
She passed him the mug, then sat down across from him. "Like ripping off a band-aid," she muttered into her cup. "I got sick this morning," she began. "That, combined with a couple other factors, led me to go get a pregnancy test, and it came up positive. And there hasn't been anyone else in my life for a while. We can get a test done if you want to be sure, but I'm about 99% sure, on both counts."
