Who: Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm and Perseus
What: The morning after
When: Morning, February 15th
Where: The Grimm's house!

Jacob awoke on the 15th after a very uneventful night, feeling more tired than when he had fallen asleep. He wrapped himself in a bathrobe and stumbled towards the kitchen in search of sweet, sweet coffee which would wake him up and, hopefully, jump start his brain.

Halfway to the kitchen, he smelled coffee already brewing and he smiled to himself. His brother was wonderful and the expression remained on his face while he turned into the kitchen. "Wil, bless you- Er. Who are you?"

Perseus was leaning against the kitchen counter, looking a little lost. He was nursing a cup of coffee and when Jacob demanded to know his identity, Perseus gave his alias. "Peter Campbell."

"Uhm. Great. What the hell are you doing in my kitchen?"

"Believe me, I'd like to know that as well," Perseus said with a grim laugh. "Somehow, last night it seemed imperative I be here with Wilhelm, though now I don't remember why."

Jacob didn't really have much to say to that, beyond, "did you...sleep with my brother?" he asked, not hearing the footsteps come up behind him.

Wil looked a little worse for wear, his hair tousled and a big curly mop on his head. He blinked, bemused, at the face off between Perseus and Jacob, and gave Jacob a sheepish wave.

"'morning," he mumbled, shuffling to the kitchen table.

Wow. Had he really been that madly in love with the guy yesterday? It felt like a dream now, and he wasn't quite sure. He felt almost like he was hungover, though he knew he hadn't been that drunk.

"Morning," Perseus mumbled. He watched Wil closely and while he did find the man attractive, he wasn't quite sure what had possessed him to feel like he was in love with the man the previous night. "And that would be a yes," Perseus said to Jacob.

Jacob made a face at Perseus and he went to sit beside Wil. "Wil, are you alright?"

"Fine. Just a bit... tired."

Whatever the reason, the sex had been very enthusiastic and passionate. It was a wonder Jacob hadn't heard them. He must have been very involved in a book. Sitting down made Wil realise he was slightly tender, and he shifted uncomfortably.

"Coffee is heaven," he groaned, looking around for the source of the glorious scent.

"Here," Perseus went to grab a mug and he filled it with coffee for Wil, not feeling strange at all that this wasn't his kitchen. He had woken up in a lot of strange beds and spent a lot of strange mornings in strange kitchens. This was the first time he had done so after feeling like he had found someone he wanted to spend the rest of his immortal existence with, however.

He set the coffee in front of Wil and then he glanced at Jacob. "Did you want some? I made enough."

"Oh did you? Did you make enough of our coffee to share with us?"

Perseus just nodded. "That's what I said. Do you want some or not?"

Jacob frowned and he looked beyond annoyed when he said, "...yes."

Wil snorted, amused by the banter and Jacob being protective. But oh, the coffee was good.

"Didn't you promise to bring me the head of Medusa last night?" he asked, sipping the coffee and making a little foodgasm sigh. "And we were going to fly off into the sunset on your horse. What happened? We weren't even drunk!" He ran his hand through his hair and shook his head, incredulously.

Perseus placed a mug in front of Jacob as well, and then he looked incredibly guilty. "I think I did, yeah. I have no idea what happened. Though I promise I won't be sending you any heads."

"The head of Medusa!?" Jacob squeaked, staring up at the tall demi-god, his coffee forgotten.

"That's right. And we were going to find Pegasus and he was going to take us...somewhere." Perseus finally took a seat and he shook his head. "No offense, you're rather attractive, but I don't usually promise to deliver people heads and other such romantic nonsense."

"Romantic!?"

Perseus arched his eyebrow at Jacob and he gave up using his alias. These men were both immortal so what was the point. "I'm Greek. We're strange. I met my wife when she was chained to a rock."

"Perseus," Jacob said, perking up visibly. "How did you two even meet?"

Perseus glanced at Wil, looking confused. "I don't- I just knew I had to."

Wil just shrugged and waved his hands in a gesture that indicated he was at an equal loss. "It was at lunch, I think? and we spent all afternoon-" gazing into each others' eyes- "together, and then went out for a drink, and then back here. I don't know, the head of a monster seemed romantic at the time. Oh, I hope your wife won't be too mad..."

He rolled his eyes long-sufferingly at Jacob's emerging fanboy side.

"My wife...isn't around any more," Perseus reassured Wil. "Don't worry. No one is going to be mad. I have an idea of what happened, though I can't be sure. Yesterday was Valentine's Day and I believe Eros made a bit of mischief last year. It wouldn't surprise me if he did it again."

"Eros?" Jacob said, taking a sip of his coffee. "Why would he mess with Wil?" Messing with the Greek pantheon made sense, but not Wil. Though Jacob did make a mental note to send a message to Clio to make sure she was okay.

"Last year, he targeted everyone," Perseus said. "It could be he did it again. He means well. He thinks he's spreading happiness." To Wil, he said, "I hope you at least enjoyed yourself."

Wil nodded at that last question, pulling a face that indicated he enjoyed himself very much.

"Well, it was an experience," he said with a smirk. "Send my regards to Eros." He raised an eyebrow at Jacob, intending to ask him if he'd attempt a couple of the things Perseus was so good at.

Perseus smiled, glad a good time was had by all. He couldn't fault Eros too much then. At least the crazy-in-love hadn't stuck around. "I'll be sure to send him a card," Perseus chuckled.

Jacob looked slightly murderous before taking another sip of coffee. "If you two want to fuck on the table, I can go sit in the library and read by myself."

Perseus just laughed. "I think I've done enough!"

"I think you have too, yikes." Wil let out a breath between his lips and turned to look at Jacob, amused. "Verschroben. You're just jealous you didn't get any." He kicked Jacob's ankle gently under the table, teasing him.

Jacob lifted his gaze to meet Wil's and he couldn't help it. He laughed and shook his head. "Guilty. I'm sorry," he said to Perseus. "You'll have to tell me your story sometime, from your perspective."

"Hey, it's fine," Perseus said with a smile. "And sure, I'd be glad to. "I should get going though. Wil, it was really good to meet you. And I'm sorry about the...love thing."

"Hey, love happens. Not usually so fast, but... Yeah. Not your fault. We all have mad relatives." Wil grinned at Jacob, then got up to escort Perseus to the door. "I'm sure we'll meet again, though under less passionate circumstances."

"Absolutely," Perseus said, reaching out his hand to give Wil's a firm shake. "It was lovely to meet you. And you too, Jacob," Perseus grinned. "Big fan! See you around."

As Perseus showed himself out, Jacob raised an eyebrow at his brother. "He was cheerful. And large. Do you want some breakfast, Wil?" Now that Perseus was gone, Jacob had lost all of his pettiness. There was only care for his brother remaining.

"Oh yes, very large. I could go for some peanut butter on toast, if you're making it." Wil smirked and gulped his coffee. It was damn good coffee.

"So. Busy weekend? Sorry I didn't see you for much of it, I was... yeah..." he waved a hand vaguely.

Jacob nearly brooded for a moment about that, but then his face broke into a grin and he chuckled at Wil. "You smug bastard," Jacob said with a shake of his head. He stood and planted a kiss on Wil's head before heading over to make Wil his breakfast.

"Were you writing?" Jacob asked, inquiring about his brother's weekend. "I was wrapped up in one of my projects."

"I was doing my column," Wil replied, stretching his arms out across the table, catlike. "I was doing some of it at the Starbucks near here and you were out when I came back. Just wondering where you went gallivanting off to."

"I went to visit Hans, actually," Jacob explained calmly. "I felt I should apologise for the way I acted when he saw us the other night and I wasn't quite myself. We had a conversation and then I completely forgot to browse his selection of antique books, so I want to go back sometime soon."

"Hans?" Wil looked up, surprised. He hadn't thought that Jacob was a big fan of the man, and he wondered if they'd talked about anything else. "So... you got along then?"

"Yes," Jacob said, completely understanding Wil's surprise. "It was quite nice." Jacob retrieved the toast from the toaster and he slathered peanut butter onto the two slices of bread. "He played his violin too. He's quite extraordinarily talented. Here, eat your toast, stud." Jacob sat the plate in front of Wil and he sat down beside his brother again.
