Who: Aglaia and Hephaestus
What: Being lovebunnies
When: Saturday night
Where: Heph's place!
Warnings: TBD but probably none since these are lovelies

Aglaia had her own place in the city and at first that had made sense. She had only just reconnected with her husband and daughters after a long time apart, and while the pantheon had imploded, it seemed like it was best to keep a low profile. Zeus was still stone, but the pantheon didn't seem quite so upheave-y. And every time she slept alone in her bed, Aglaia missed her husband.

She knocked on his door, since it was the polite thing to do at the moment, though as soon as it was open, she was in her husband's arms. "I missed you, Hephaestus," she admitted, though it had only been a few days since she had last seen him.

Hephaestus hadn't seen much of anyone in his pantheon since it had fallen apart, and while he'd done his fair share of gloating when Zeus became a statue, he had avoided drawing attention to himself where he could. But he missed his wife and daughters, he couldn't deny that.

Which is why he was not at all displeased to suddenly find himself with his arms full of Aglaia, unexpected though the visit was. "I missed you as well, Aglaia," he said, pulling her close. "How have you been?"

"I've been good," Aglaia said, muffled against his shoulder. She pulled away and grinned at him. "I just wanted to see you. I would have brought something to eat but it was a spur of the moment decision."

"I'm glad to hear it," he replied, smiling back at her. "And you know that you're welcome anytime. There's probably something in the kitchen, living on my own, I've learned to cook for myself fairly well."

"And how often do you do so?" Aglaia askedm turning a speculative eye on him. It seemed the women in Hephaestus' life were determined to make him put on some weight. She moved deeper into the house and she looked at him sideways. "Do you like living alone, Hephaestus?"

"How often do I cook?" he asked, to clarify. "Four or five nights a week. Different styles, when I have the time to try things in between projects."

He met her gaze steadily. "Not at all," he replied. "The house is too big and quiet for just myself, rattling about a big empty place like this. Why do you ask?" Though he had a feeling he already knew the answer.

Aglaia was happy to hear that answer and she beamed up at him. "I hate ratting around in my apartment alone knowing that you're in the city and I could be with you. And I don't want you to be alone either if that's not what you want. You're my husband, Hephaestus. I miss being with you."

He couldn't help but smile. "I miss having you around," he told her. "If you like, you could move in with me. Gods know I have enough space, and as you said, I don't want to be alone. It's too quiet."

"I would love to move in with you!" Aglaia said, pleased that he had asked. "I have a feeling I can help with the quiet. And we can have our girls over as often as possible. Is it alright if I spend the night tonight?"

Hephaestus grinned almost wide enough to split his face in two. "And I would love to have you here. And yes, we can have the girls over as much as possible. Eupheme makes the most wonderful pancakes, and she seems to think I'm far too skinny for my own good."

"Yes, of course that would be alright," he said. "My home is your home now."

Algaia moved in towards Hephastus, wrapping her arms around him. "You are too skinny for your own good. But we'll soon fix that. Kiss me!"
