Who: Greed and Monique Reppyi
When: Saturday late afteroon, July 28th, 2011
Where: Local pub/New York streets
What: Greed is bored and runs into the mortal he'd been interested to catch weeks ago.
Greed was bored. Really bored. It got hotter out leaving less people out on the street that weren't glued to their telephone. He'd actually followed a woman into the coffee shop whose trail he quickly lost when she spent the entire time on her phone. It was fine until she went into the bathroom with her coffee and came out still chatting. That was just gross. After having a venti coconut mocha frappichino he headed back out.
When Greed got bored, strange things happened. Little boys pulled down their pants in the middle of the street with their arms crossed until they went into the toy store. Little girls grabbed their daddy's legs and refused to let go, screaming for candy. Grown men cried like babies when they stepped into dog shit and had to buy new shoes (more like demanded new shoes). He'd spent days cooped up after Patience took an underhanded swing. Then Sloth ran him ragged. There was a wave of listlessness that Greed only had when he was around Sloth for too long. It was depressing. He'd wallow for hours.
He made sure to avoid the park today as Patience had ruined that little trip. He sucked down the icy part of his frappicino through the fat straw with as much noise as he could make. Maybe someone would pay him some attention. Attention he would have or he could get nasty.

Date: 2012-07-29 05:08 am (UTC)She'd stopped at a street cart for one of those giant pretzels and a frozen lemonade. She hadn't eaten a proper lunch, but it would tide her over until she got home. She was just making her way to the subway station when she saw the sun glinting off a familiar head of blonde hair. It was that bloke she'd met in a bar a few weeks ago.
She walked up next to him, smiling. "Hey," she said. "Chance, right? We met a couple of weeks ago."

"Monique?" He was ready to greet her with more than just a grin. A hug would be forward, but Greed never much cared for formalities. That was left for church, and even then he broke the rules.

He shrugged as she instigated further (that meant he could latch on). "Just out. It's a nice day." He could play good.
