WHO: Lyra & Thanatos
WHEN: Saturday afternoon
WHERE: Thanatos' apartment
WHAT: So you know that offer you made?

The bouquet of flowers in Lyra's arms was a section of ridiculously bright flowers, some of which the florist had informed her really didn't look good together. But clashing colours was almost Lyra's 'thing' so she insisted.

Knocking on Thanatos' door and called out, "It's Lyra! I have a surprise!" When the door opened though she couldn't really see him over the top of all those blooms, but still she said, "hi! I brought colours!"

He set his hands on her shoulders and nodded. "Yes. The offer remains, but you said it was too soon." He tilted his head, "if you have changed your mind that does make me happy. This place is rather quiet and could use your brightness."

"My lease is running out," Lyra explained, "so I've been thinking about the idea of you and me living together more. I think I'd like it," she smiled at him. "If you'll still have me."

He chuckled to that, "like I would ever turn you away. My home is your home Lyra. Always and forever." He meant that. If he could, he'd keep her forever. "Feel free to move your things whenever you like. I will call Hypnos and lend a hand."

Again Lyra kissed him, grinning as she did so. "I love you," she whispered happily against his lips in Greek.

He smiled to her and returned the kiss. "As I love you," he said in the same language. He was always surprised by her, and always pleasantly. "I have this faint idea you are going to change the colors of everything here. Maybe I ought to worry about that more then I do."

"Maybe a little bit," Lyra admitted, making the international figure measurement of that as she did. "Mostly it'll just be that my things are very bright. I can put a lot of it in storage though," she promised, wrapping her arms around him again. "I don't want to ruin your bachelor pad here."

He kept his own arms around her, glad to just have the opportunity to do so. He liked this so much better then just sitting on the sidelines and watching. "No. No. It's fine. I was teasing. I don't think you would ruin it, and by you living here it doesn't really deserve that name anyway." He shrugged, "go as wild as you please. Make this your home too Lyra. Don't just share a space with me."

"We can make it our home," Lyra said, and there was a shyness still in her words, as though he might change his mind on this whole silly idea. "A place that's all ours."

"I like this idea. Very much so." And then when she left, either by time or her own choice, he would have this memento of her he could keep. Something to remember her by as time passed. To let him know it had happened.

"Me too," Lyra smiled. "Although I warn you now, I've never lived with someone else before. Except," she said as she thought about it, "I'm realising as I say it that you probably haven't had all that many roommates either."

He laughed to her words and nodded, "you would be right. The only person I have ever lived with is Hypnos. We traveled together for so long it seemed easier. Now he has his wife back I leave them to their privacy." He shrugged, "I am sure I will adapt."
