WHO: Perseus and Deirdre
WHAT: Talking about living arrangements
WHEN: Augh, whatever day today is. Or a few days ago.
WHERE: Perseus' place

Perseus was married. He was so happy, there was no way to put it into words. He loved Deirdre and the way he felt about her was special. He had felt that way about only two people in his many centuries of existence.

They had gotten together to speak about living arrangements, and after greeting each other he had gone to fetch her some wine. He carried it back and smiled at her as he handed it over. "Here you are, Wife."

His comment made her giggle, like she was still a child and she took the glass. "thank you, husband." She was extremely happy. Maybe it hadn't been romantic, but it had been good and right. What hey had was not something she was going to let go.

She was also unwilling to remain in two different places. "So. Neither Patroclus nor Briseis mind one way or the other." Best to tackle this straight on, she felt. "So it is your preference. I do not mind busy homes, but it can get crowded."

She didn't mention her ex also figured out where Perseus lived now. She didn't feel like dealing with him every so often either. "I like having them around. But the place we have right now is pushing it for us three and Gandalf. I think we'd all get on one another's nerves right now. If it was bigger, there'd be less issue." With a frown she sipped from her drink. "Selfishly, I'd love for just a place for us two. I like people, but I've always shared." she gave him a shy smile and glanced down, "I'd rather not share this."

She nodded, "yes. I agree." Her friends would understand, they'd said so, and it wasn't like she was cutting them out of her life. "I wouldn't mind looking online. I could ask around, but I've never really looked for a home before." She was thinking of the things she could sell off to give a bit more capital to this. She wouldn't want Perseus to be burdened with all of it.

Laughing she nodded, "that's exactly what I was thinking, actually." Her true preference would be in the woods somewhere, but Perseus seemed to enjoy his work and taking him away seemed cruel. "Preferable within decent distance of both are work places. And a big kitchen." She loved to cook, and with her new classes she'd like to be able to practice the things she was learning.

She bit her lip, but the offer was truly too tempting. "If you're sure. I'm only working so much, and I have a bit but not too much. I don't want to burden you all with this." Then she smiled, "but I would like to have a place for when things here get too busy for me." Or Conchobar decided to come hound her. "So I would very much like that."

She returned the kiss, even if she was slightly stunned. She didn't know why. He had been a King at one point. "Oh. I didn't know. Now I'm trying not to sound vain." Smiling she went to take his hands. "alright then. That's settled. I'd also like to meet some of your family. The ones you think are alright. I've read up on your father, and I'm not too sure I'm willing to risk meeting him. With my luck, and my curse, well..." she shrugged and smiled, "but your sister Artemis? You said she's alright? I could make dinner for her?"

"I'd introduce my family to you but none of them are around anymore. I think Leabarcham would have liked you."

She chuckled to his face, then nodded. "I would like that. She reminds me of a few of the Gods I used to worship. It's still so strange to know I could talk to them. Physically, anyway." She set her hand on his arm at his condolence, appreciating the thought. "It's alright. My father is but a footnote in my tale. Leabarcham only appears a few times. I've made a new family now." She looked at him with a smile, "one I love very much."

She was glad for that, and let her fingers touch his cheek before pulling back. Right now, she was perfectly happy and intended to stay that way.
