Kate had to grin at that because Doc was right on that count. Most men thought that she just needed commitment to tame her but that wasn't how she worked. One of the reasons she and Doc had been together as long as they had was they understood that about each other, the need for space.
She moved the gear and smiled, "Swell." and then she floored it, "Keep yer eyes on the road Doc, yer a taken man now." her lips curled into something wicked.
