WHO: Doc Holliday & Big Nose Kate
WHEN: Thursday night
WHERE: Out on the town
WHAT: Hunting
WARNING: Language at the very least

Kate always cleaned up nice, even in the Old West she could wear a dress that revealed just enough to let your imagination take over the rest. Not that she was dressing up for Doc in any way. She would never. Tonight was about man catching. If her ex wanted to be an asshole and insist that ten years of a relationship were nothing more than him being her meal ticket she would make him eat his words and choke on them. If he wanted to believe it then fine by her. He would have to find her a replacement meal ticket before she'd give him back his guns.

So tonight they were going out on the town so he could help her find a husband. She didn't expect any gallant moves like him arriving on goddamn time or anything but hell she was still a lady and she expected him to walk up to his her own door and collect her for the evening.

"Then they got a ride ahead of 'em if they don't see you comin'." Doc chuckled sliding into the seat. "How's yer drivin' dear?" His eyes did shoot a glance over her state of dress.

"Did ya dress up just for me?" He laughed again flicking his lighter against a new cigarette.

Kate was never a bird to be tamed. He never tried, but he did try to get rid of her more than once. Most men tried to wrangle her into a nice girl, but Kate wasn't a nice girl.

He shot his head forward, rubbing his lip where that mustache rested at one time. He had many old habits that weren't going anywhere. "Nice 'a you to remember after involvin' her. You don't strike just once, sugar. Keep yer eyes off Nicole." This was still about her lighting a fire up his ass for an old grudge.

"Not every woman is like turnin' a silk purse out of a sow's ear." Kate was the sow's ear, Nicole was the silk purse. If Kate was going to cast her hate on anyone she needed to keep it toward him.

"What makes you think I'm gonna fuck this up? She's a nice girl, there ain't nothin' to fuck up."

Doc straightened himself up, his tie, his coat and scarf. "Dyin' young an' livin' life decades beyond yer time can change a man. I like a lil' wildfire every now an' then, but I like comin' home to someone who doesn't want to shoot my ass every time I come in the door." Doc climbed out of the car not giving Kate the chance to fume off with her mouth as he stepped inside. She would find him at the bar. She was one wild tiger that had to get in the last word. Maybe that's why she hated him so much, because when he died he took the words with him that she didn't ever want to say knowing she wouldn't see him again. History had changed that now.

Doc had his own glass of whiskey in his hand, having slammed back a good swallow before she made her entrance a second time. This time he did take notice without hiding behind the fact that he was trying not to look. "You do gussy up nice once you put a nice lil' dress on." Kate had never been glamorous unless someone else was doing the buying or providing her with what she had. His ringed finger tapped against the glass, making a soft song as the metal vibrated from the connection. "Times are a bit different." He looked down into the brown liquid still needing him to finish it off. "You're the first one, lil' darlin' that I've met since bein' alive again." It kind of seemed crude that she was the last one he saw before dying and the first one he saw when taking a new breath.

"You'd look better with yer skirts kicked up over yer head." He gave her a satisfied smirk.

"It's a life, darlin' why not jus' enjoy it instead of kickin' up a fuss? Times ain't what they used to be for us." He snorted into his drink. "What am I lookin' for? Yer tastes vary these days, sugar."
