Who: Terpsichore & Polyhymnia
What: Sisters reuniting
When: Sunday afternoon
Where: Central Park

Terpsichore loved Sunday afternoons. They were long and lazy and full of sun, and she didn't have to be up at seven to get ready for classes. Today, she'd woken around noon, made a leisurely lunch and had a glass of wine, and finally gotten dressed around one. She didn't have any particular plans, so she put on her sunglasses and headed down to Central Park. There was always something going on in the Park, she was sure to find something to pass the time with.

She heard music further down the path, and it caught her attention, so she continued toward the sound. She could hear beautiful harmonies coming from a bandshell, and it made the hairs on the back of her neck stand up. She decided to stay and listen for a while, finding an empty seat close by and settling into it.

Polyhymnia also had a special sort of fondness for Sunday afternoons. They were part of a select few hours that she considered 'her time', in which there were no lessons to prepare for, obligations that had to be kept, or even deadlines to meet. By the time Sunday afternoon rolled around she was ready to spend some time being lazy and simply enjoying herself, and this Sunday was no different. She'd been cooped up in the house all week, and decided it would be best to go for a walk.

Wandering aimlessly, mostly taking advantage of the nice weather to see the sights and hear the sounds of the city, she somehow ended up in Central Park where she was delighted to find an outdoor concert was in session. Though the music wasn't her preferred type, there was something about its cadence that captured her attention. Taking a seat near the back, one of the few empty ones remaining, she settled in for what she hoped would be an enjoyable time.

It wasn't until after she'd settled in and began listening that Polyhymnia got that odd tingling feeling alerting her to the fact that someone very similar to her was around. Having recently spent Thansgiving with her sisters, she was relatively sure the feeling was regarding one of them, but she was unsure of whom until Terpsichore sat down beside her.

Jumping slightly at the sound of her true name, she smiled and reached out to give her sister a hug. "Terps! It's so good to see you," she whispered back.
