Patrick made his way home slowly, trying to reconcile what he had just done in his head. He had willingly trapped a living thing inside a coffin, knowing it would make said thing suffer. Sure it was the Antichrist and sure said Antichrist had raped his brother's girlfriend and then threatened to rape him, but Patrick still didn't feel great about it.

He entered the apartment, the key to Joshua's coffin held tightly in his hand. Instead of yelling for Clio, he went to find her. He knew this was what she wanted and it meant that Wrath didn't have to worry about Joshua showing up either. He still had to convince himself it was right.

When he caught sight of Clio though, he smiled and held up the key. "Hey you. Got you a present."

"I love you," was Patrick's reply. He leaned forward and planted a kiss on her head. "I'm just glad no one has to worry about him for the forseeable future," he said, and that was absolutely the truth. "And maybe he'll think twice about hurting people in the future."

"Hm. Love you too. Doesn't mean it wasn't a shitty thing to ask." And she'd feel bad about that for a while. Vengeance was an easy thing for her. And while she didn't think this was the end of it, at least it was enough to get the thing to lay off for a while.

"I'll put this in my vault when I get back home. It'll be safe there." She stepped back and went to sit down, "you alright?"

"I'm alright," he assured her. He didn't honestly think anything she did was shitty. "If I didn't want to do it, I wouldn't have said yes. I know I can do that with you. Say no. I know you won't leave me because I don't want to do something."

"Of course not. I'd never do that. I'd have figured something out." She set the key on the table and leaned into the couch. She felt better knowing this thing couldn't get out and hurt Patrick now.

With a smile she brushed her fingers through her hair. "But still. Thank you. I know it's odd, but I really do just want to make sure this thing can't hurt you. And now he can't. No need to look over shoulders anymore."

"To be honest, I do feel better," he admitted. Joshua's threats had made him more than a little paranoid. "I like not having to look over my shoulder."

With a smile she patted the couch beside her, glad he wasn't angry at her. She'd have to think of consequences, but hopefully they wouldn't be too bad. She hoped the pride of this creature would be to high to admit being bested by a pagan.

"Well, it lets us relax in either case. And I'm going to enjoy that."

Patrick jumped onto the sofa beside her and he leaned his head against her shoulder. "I plan to enjoy it too. I won't have a tiny panic attack every time I leave the apartment. I knew he was following me." Patrick shook his head. "Doesn't matter. What did you do while I was gone?"

She kissed his head, glad that this had happened before Patrick had gotten seriously hurt. But the key in front of her assured it wouldn't. "I had the very exiting task of grading papers and covering Ella in bows." She hadn't wanted the girl to get hurt, if things had ended poorly though. Jacob would keep her safe, even if it wasn't needed anymore.

"I'll pick her up again tomorrow. I can see which one of you is more exited, although I think you might win that one. Ella's just excited because other people are."

The very thought of Ella covered in bows made Patrick light up. His love for the tiny girl was not something he hid even a little. "I can't wait to see her," he said with a grin. "I am going to read her so many stories!"

She had always worried about Ella if she'd gone to date. Her daughter was so important to her. She was glad she would never need to worry about it.

Smiling she curled up close and went to take Patrick's hand, "I'm sure she'll love it. So anything you want? I have some ideas but narrowing it down won't be bad."

Patrick wrapped his arms around her and he kissed her head. "I am so ridiculously happy right now, I can't even think about anything I want. Is that a lame, cop-outty answer?!"

She leaned into the kiss then nodded. "Totally is. Don't worry love you get a Muse in a bow." Grinning she winked at him, "I'm thinking presents that don't make your relatives frown at me here. I'm easy. Books or antiques always make me happy. I'm going to talk to Jacob and get Ella a pet from the two of us. She'll like that I think."

"Pfft, relatives frowning, pfft," he grinned. "I like muse in a bow!" He loved buying presents more than getting them and he had plans for Clio. "A pet sounds perfect for Ella. She'll be so cute!"

She raised an eyebrow and looked at him, "The question of how many Saints can a Greek Muse fall over by showing up naked is a rhetorical one love." Not that she'd necesarily mind. She had no issues with her body or not having clothes on. But other people had different morals and that was fine with her.

"She really likes Kellan when she comes over, and she seems gentle with him. And cats can get up high if she bothers them."

Patrick just kissed her hair and held her a little more tightly. "I like being the only one," he admitted.

"Cats sound like a good idea. They can usually handle themselves. And not all of them are perverts."

She set a hand over his, "And you'll stay the only one. Promise. But I'll find something." She already had, but she liked surprising him too. "Only the Faerie Kind it seems. I'll just make sure I don't get any of those."
