After the conversation he'd had with Michael he was slightly worried about his fellow angel. As he was, by technicality, in charge of the arch angels he did like to make sure of their well being, especially when one was a bit off center. So he'd come to the station and after hearing Michael was out took a seat at Michael's desk and was unsurprised at the amount of sugar hiding there.

He just shook his head and waited, patiently tapping his fingers on his leg and listening to the people around him. He enjoyed doing that at times, whenever the murmur didn't get to loud for him to enjoy just hearing mortals. Despite it being a station he still picked up rather enjoyable bits and pieces that made him smile.

He shook his head to that. "He did not wish to Michael. Dealing with you is one thing. I'm a different subject."

He did smile to the mortal's answer, and nodded. "He's right. And it is different to love from afar, and to love closer. Watching and loving is all you have done. Now you interact, you're closer to the very thing we swore to protect and cherish. Like I said Michael, you acted human."

"I worry then where the acting human will end," Michael admitted and Victor chuckled.

"Oh, my friend. I wouldn't worry too much about that. And I mean that fondly. I'm grateful for what you did, Michael. And so is my family and my girlfriend."

"He does have a point there. And it's not so bad you know, being more human. Just complicated."

"Made more complicated because I don't understand," Michael agreed.

"Well I can help," Victor offered. "You saved my life, it's the least I can do. I can be a human translator if you will."

Michael looked interested in that. "I believe that would be helpful. Perhaps it was all part of God's plan in the end afterall."

It made him smile, "I do believe I told you something of that nature brother. But I should go. It is good to know you'll be alright."

"You did. Sometimes it takes us time to see things like that too, Victor," Michael said.

Victor glanced at both of them and then he stood from his chair so he could shake Metatron's hand again. "It is a bit of a surprise, but I'm getting used to those. I was pleased to meet you, Elie. I thought you would look like Alan Rickman."

"Trust me, I wish." He smiled to the joke before returning the handshake then leaving.
