Who: George & Alexander the Great
What: Meetings of awesome happenstance
When: Tuesday late afternoon
Where: Central Park (because I am not clever :|)
Alexander had gotten off work at the usual time, but he just didn't feel like going back to his hotel room right away. It wasn't really tiny or anything, he'd just gotten really tired of the beige paint, weird artwork, and it not being truly his. He'd given himself an ultimatum of February 13th to have a permanent place, and with him, it would happen, come Hades or high water.
He took the subway to Central Park, because he felt like a long walk (and maybe one of those big pretzels) was exactly what the doctor ordered. He started wandering along one of the many paths in the park, lost in his own head and munching on his pretzel.

Fortunately for him, he didn't collide head-on with Alexander. It was really more of a shoulder-check. Still, he whirled around ready to apologize profusely when he recognized the man from the pictures Richard had shown him.
"Oh! Hey!" You're Alexander, right?"

His explanation had sounded a bit smoother in his head. He couldn't help it, though. This was Alexander the Great.

He grinned. "It'd be interesting to hear what Hegemon has to say, sometimes I think he'd do nothing but curse at me, if he could. Like you said. Total diva."

That made him laugh. "That explains why he constantly sniffs my pockets whenever I go and see him. 'Foodgiver', that's probably my name to him. Figures."

He nodded gravely, but couldn't keep the small smile off his face. "Yes, I'd imagine so. Wouldn't do to start a panic."
