Kat had agreed to go with him to check out his new campus and when he knew she was coming over, he had headed over to his storage unit and retrieved his motorbike. Then he had proceeded to spend the next several hours shining it up and making it look beautiful as well as making sure it was all in working order.

When his girlfriend arrived, he grinned and went to kiss her. "I have a surprise," he said with an impish look in his eyes.

Because it was, for once, nice and pleasant she'd picked something cute to wear. A half attempt at getting even. he smiled when she arrived an at the kiss, hen drew back with a raised eyebrow.

"You look gorgeous by the way. And holy crap, I seriously almost said delicious," he laughed as he led her to his garage. Since he owned one half of a duplex, he was lucky enough to have his own garage. She raised an eyebrow. "Okay. Kat not for eating. Been watching Hannibal?" Smiling she followed him. She was a bit surprised at the bike, but grinned. For some reason, she really liked them. That and they were sexy. "Oh, hello." Grinning she went to set her hand on the handles. "Am I suddenly pleased I'm not wearing a skirt. Can we take this?" She chuckled, "I'm uncomfortable in cars, but give me a bike and I'm all good. Weird."

"Not so weird," he said with a smile. "Of course we can take it. I have an extra helmet." He wrapped one arm around her. "I used to drive upstate on it in the autumn. It's beautiful."

"Awesome." she kept her hand on the handle and smiled at him. "See, now you're just trying to sweet talk me. Or something. I've always wanted to learn how to ride one, but never did. I want to see how it runs, come on." Then she turned to him for a long kiss. "And that's for thanks."

Victor laughed and he darted inside to grab his jacket and keys before returning. He opened the garage door and then handed Kat a helmet before straddling the bike. "Come on then. Hold on tight," he said with a grin.

She took the helmet then grinned, "Oh I like this image." Chuckling she straddled the bike herself before putting the helmet on, then setting her arms around his waist.

"And if you need me to slow down or stop, I won't be able to hear anything you say, so give me three squeezes or something, alright?" Victor wheeled the bike out of the garage and closed the door before starting the bike up and pulling out of the driveway and onto the road.

They wound their way around the city streets until they arrived on campus and Victor pulled to a stop. He pulled his helmet off and then turned to look at her. "All good?" he asked.

She nodded, and said nothing because honestly that was too easy. Despite her issues with cars, bikes were different, and there was a hint of a thrill attached to it.

She ended up not having to tell him to slow down and when they stopped she released him and removed her helmet with a laugh. "All awesome. I remember why I love bikes now." Grinning happily she got off and looked around. "Nice. You know I'm kind of expecting Police Academy. Or uniforms. I don't know what I'd like more."

To be honest, Victor had sort of been expecting that too. "Well the actual academy was a little like that, I have to say," he grinned as he locked the helmets in his seat compartment and then headed towards campus. "I have to admit it is," she followed him and looked around, running her fingers through her hair to calm it down from after the ride. "Oh man I missed that. Damn. So hey we should sneak into a class." She grinned, "got that idea from a show and did that at Columbia once before I enrolled. Mind you, I picked a class I wouldn't be in."

"You want to sneak into a class filled with budding law enforcement officials," he asked her, incredibly amused. "I like your bravado there."

She grinned at him, "hey I am feeling rebellious and adventerous. I'm willing to bet no one will notice. And what if they do? You say 'hey you're going to be awesome at your job, noticing the people who don't fit in'." She shrugged, "I'd give them a pat on the back for that. And it's not illegal. You're going to study here. Come on, adventure! What's the worst that will happen? They ask us to go?"

All that sounded fair enough to him. "Alright then, daredevil." He wrapped his arm around her as the ducked into a building. "Let's find a lecture room and see what's going on."

She gave a laugh at that. "Success!" She leaned into him as she walked into the building. "Here," she motioned ahead. "People are filing in." she winked at him as she went and followed them. She hoped it wasn't anything to do with dead people, but she'd picked at random and was curious.

Victor took a seat beside her near the back of the lecture hall so maybe they wouldn't be called on.

The lecture started and he was pleased to find that it was an introduction to criminal justice class. He hoped Kat wasn't too bored, but they were talking about institutional corrections, and Victor actually felt at home. And it showed.

She was out of her depth, and wasn't too sure about the material, but it was interesting enough. She had no frame of reference, but it did make her smile how much at home Victor seemed to be. She was glad that she'd convinced him to do this.

He listened with rapt attention as the lecturer droned on about policy and ethics. It was all stuff he knew, having already worked in the field, but it didn't mean he didn't love hearing about it.

Once the lecture was over, he turned to her and kissed her cheek. "Thank you," he said quietly.

She smiled to him. "Hey no. You're cute when you get all enraptured. If nothing else, this proved to me that getting you in this was a good idea. You love this stuff. IT shows." She rose then and walked out with everyone else.

"And hey I learned a lot of new stuff. All out of context, but I can still tell it's revisions. Man that's weird."

Victor chuckled and he leaned down to kiss her hair. "I want to check out the library before we go, but yes...I know now it was the right decision too and that's...wonderful."

She leaned into him, "I feel wonderful too. I helped." She nodded, "sure. Hey this is all yours. We can look at anything you want and stay as long as you want. I really don't mind Vic. I may not understand, but it is interesting."

"I think it's very important, however, that you know hearing the justice system being discussed kind of turns me on," he said with a laugh. "Which I know is weird, don't judge me. But I find myself not wanting to dawdle." Unless she was not interested and then they might as well dawdle for a while.

Grinning she moved a touch closer. "I never judge seeing the leather jacket is very much a turn on. And the bike. We can't forget that." Smiling she went to kiss him, "so library and then home it is. And you're at home here. It shows. And is attractive. And I'm shutting up now."

"Not going to complain about being attractive to my incredibly beautiful girlfriend," he laughed. They followed the signage to the library and they headed on in. He took it in and was well pleased by the look of it. "So many law enforcement books in one place," he whispered.

"You're adorable," to be fair she'd be the same way if she'd ever see MIT, so she could understand. "Silly question time, making out in the library full of law enforcement books is breaking how many laws?" She grinned then went to a shelf to flip through one of the books. "You know if I was a true evil villain you just handed me the keys to take over the world right? or at least the country? I'd learn all the laws, then find the loopholes."
