Who: Anne & OPEN
Where: Coffee Shop
When: Mid Morning Saturday
Rating: TBD
Status: Incomplete

Anne sat in one of the small coffee shops sipping her cup of tea while she flipped through the latest book she had borrowed from the library. It wasn't something she would typically read but she felt the need for something trashy. She had looked at the Mills and Boons but had ended up with a Stephanie Laurens books instead, plus it was set in an era that wasn't the modern day and vaguely familiar to the one she had grown up in. It was interesting and it didn't require much brain power which she was happy about, she just wanted to sit down and relax and forget about the past week. It had been beyond hectic unfortunately so it was good to finally have a day off. It was surprising just how many stupid people she had to deal with these days. Sometimes she swore the world was getting more and more dumb as the centuries passed, she hoped she would be proved wrong though.

George did a double take when he saw Anne sitting in the corner of the coffee shop. For a city of millions of people, New York could be surprisingly small sometimes.

Coffee in hand, he walked over to her but didn't sit down. He wasn't sure if she wanted company or not, but he wanted to say hi.

"Hello, your Highness," he said cheerfully.

"I'm good, just grabbing a coffee," George said, holding up his cup. "What about you? Your, uh, death-day wasn't too long ago."

"I get it," George said, sliding down in the chair across from her. "They have our feast days on the day we died, and for the first decade after I came back, it was like, 'Thanks, but no thanks'."

"Eh, it actually becomes kind of fun after a while," George said, shrugging. "A lot of us don't remember our birthday, so the feast day becomes a good excuse to eat cake and get silly gifts. Um, but have you talked to Elizabeth recently? She kind of takes your death day hard."

"She'd like that," George said. "She always used to ask for stories about you, when she was a little girl."
