WHO: Persephone and Hades
WHAT: I don't want to tell my mother...
WHEN: Monday evening
WHERE: A nice hotel room

Persephone was getting better around Hades as the summer went on, and for that she was glad. She didn't see him every day, but she tried to make time for him at least once a week. This week she had gotten a hotel room and told him to meet her there. She had even ordered some room service and it was waiting in the room for Hades' arrival.

For Persephone's sake, she was pacing a little, though she wasn't nervous about Hades. Or that wasn't her man worry! She needed to tell her mother she was having another child and she didn't know how to do so. She wanted to talk to Hades about it first.

"Hopefully I'll understand a son more. The girls confuse me." And they worried him silly, but he didn't think that would change with a son either. "Yeah probably just you. I think the only time she'd be happy with me would be if I was fading. It's a shame. Before she let this grudge consume her, she was a wonderful woman." He shrugged, "ah well."

He rolled his eyes, "fine, fine. She is wonderful. Even if she has to get over that grudge." He smiled, "I try to be. I always did regret not seeing everything with the girls."

When he heard the knock he released her and went to get the food. After tipping the man graciously he returned with the tray and motioned to the table. "Go and have a seat."

He made sure she had plenty of food before sitting down, "on an unrelated subject I ran into a mortal a few weeks back. Did I tell you? Ligea almost had the poor child. So I intervened. And was reminded of how painfully bad I am at social things."

"She let him go," he offered with a shrug, "spend a few moments talking to him before we parted ways."

He scoffed and picked some of the food of the plate. "Hardly a hero." He shrugged, "mortal, and he had no idea which made the entire experience even more awkward. I kept hoping you'd appear. I'm not good with mortals. I never know what I'm supposed to say to them."
