Arthur had just won a case and he stalked out of the courtroom with authority. He loved winning cases. It all helped him in his bid to keep the role of DA. As he strode through the hallway, basking in the feeling of victory, he felt something else push on his senses.

There was another immortal here. He recognised her though he had never met her before, and he had certainly never known she was like him. Feeling bold, he approached her and smiled. "Hello, there! My name is Arthur Rex." He knew she would feel that he was immortal too.

Anne had been in a pre-trail hearing with the judge and her defendant and the prosecution, seeing what would happen. She knew her client was innocent, it was something she had learned to tell fa long time ago - doing law for so long made it easier to tell these things and it came as second nature to her. Finishing up with her client declaring himself not guilty, they moved on and set a date for the actual trail.

Making her way out of the courthouse she stopped when she sensed another immortal near her. She looked around and didn't recognise anyone at first. When they approached her though she had to raise an eyebrow slightly, she hadn't realised that he was an immortal and had to wonder whom he had been in his previous life. "A pleasure Mister Rex, I'm Anne Dashner."

"I thought you might be," he said with a smile. "I've heard good things. I never knew you were...well you know. Would you like to get a drink or something?"

"I've heard things about you too though I didn't realise that about you either," she replied calmly like it was an everyday occurrence. "I would like that thank you. Do you have any suggestions for where we should go?"

"There's a restaurant around the corner," he said with a smile. It was frequented by a lot of lawyers, was very upmarket, and he thought she probably knew it.

He led the way and as they walked, he lowered his voice to say, "I'm Arthur of Camelot."

"I know it, lovely place. I don't get there as much as I like too though," she admitted.

"Oh!" she said softly, even in her time he was a well known person but she had never thought she would get to meet him. Though it did make sense that he would be brought back now that she thought about it. "I'm Anne Boleyn," she told him. It was good to know at least which immortal she was talking too.

That was impressive. As soon as she admitted who she was, he was struck by sympathy. What she had suffered for her horrible husband...

"I have met Henry," he said softly. "And I have to say I am very sorry."

Anne had to admit she was glad that he felt the same as she in regards to Henry. Of course he was a prick with very few friends back home or in this place. Home he had a few more but even then it was mostly loyalty to his king in an effort to save their own lives. "Thank you," she told him truthfully. "He isn't pleasant - here or back home. It took me a long time to come to terms with truthfully," she admitted with a shrug.

She still had a lot of problems that could be traced back to her relationship with Henry. Most of all her distrust of majority of men and her lack of interest in relationships for the most part. In this day and age she had actually considered having a relationship with a woman but she was not sure if she could truly do so.

"I can imagine," he said softly. "I have to admit something," he said as they walked. "I had a relationship with your daughter for six months or so. She's a wonderful woman, Elizabeth. We're better friends than we were boyfriend and girlfriend."

Anne hadn't been expecting that in the slightest. "While I still sometimes have trouble seeing Elizabeth as a grown woman I know she is and is able to make her own decisions. Still I appreciate the honesty," she told him. "Still I'm not sure if I'm ready to think about Elizabeth dating just yet," she added with a slight grin.

Arthur laughed and as the reached the bar, he held the door open for her. "Totally understood," he smiled. "Just felt it would be dishonest not to mention it."

Anne appreciated it, she really did and was glad he took it well. "I appreciate the honesty like I said. Just some things a mother doesn't want to hear about her daughter. Ever," she replied with a smile entering the bar.

"I don't doubt it. There's some things about my son I wish I didn't know," he said with a sigh. He led her to a table and pulled a chair out for her before taking one himself. "Can I get you something to drink?"

"Exactly," she said with a nod. "I think all parents are like that," she added. "Thank you," she said giving him a smile while sitting at the table. She appreciated that, so many men these days didn't have good manners which was a shame. "Perhaps just a glass of Chardonay please?" she asked him.

Arthur stood and ordered her Chardonnay as well as a red for himself and then he carried them both back to the table with a smile.

"Here we are," he said, handing one over. "I have to admit, I'm sorry we never ran into each other before."

"Thank you," she said with a tilt of her head. "As am I. I'm actually surprised we haven't given how closely we work together. I suppose that is the way life is though," she said simply. "There does seem to be an awful of us around here as it is."

"There really are," he said, taking a sip of his wine. "Some for better, some for worse, as is the case with Henry. But I recently met a few of the saints and they were very kind and personable."

"That is true," she agreed. "It might sound bitter if you didn't know my story but I truly wish Henry wasn't here," she said with a shake of her head. She had been much happier until she had run into him truthfully. "They are, I quite like George actually - I knew him when I was Queen though I did not realise who he was at the time of course."

"George is a good egg," Arthur smiled widely. "But I wish Henry wasn't here too. He does no one any good. I've met your cousin Katherine as well, by the way. She was really lovely."

"He is yes," Anne nodded. "Tell me about it. I had the misfortune of running into him not that long ago. It was good to stand up to him though," she said with a slight smile. "I do like Katherine, she is a sweetheart. For the most part the people were aren't that bad. Do you have any family here?" she asked curiously.
