Who: Eleanor of Aquitaine, Richard the Lionheart, Isabelle Darlington
What: Doing the comforting thing
When: Wednesday night
Where: Richard's place
Eleanor was at the end of her rope with John. She really did love her son, but hitting his girlfriend was not something she was just going to let slide. But for right now, making sure the girl was alright was more important. If she needed someone to comfort her, to be a maternal figure in her life, then Eleanor could do that.
She went straight to Richard's from work, pulling up to the curb and parking her car. She took a moment to collect herself, to switch from CEO mode into a mothering one. Then she ascended the steps and knocked.

She peered at Isabelle's face, hissing out an angry curse in her mother tongue. "I am so sorry," she said. "I will be having a long talk with him about this."

Half glad Alex wasn't here, he grabbed some glasses and one of his mother's favorite wines. He returned with them and set the glasses down, pouring some for the two.

She took a seat beside Eleanor, politely nodding as Richard prepared the wine. She needed a little, maybe it would help wash some of this away. "I'm okay, really." She told Eleanor, her dainty fingers pinching the flute of the wine glass.

"I have my ways," she replied, half chipper, half quiet growl. Then she turned to Isabelle. "If you do decide to press charges, my dear, I know a very good attorney who can help."
