"You're pretty much the best." She smiled. "Yeah, it's usually pretty bad the first few weeks, then it goes away and I feel like a person again. But that tea would be great, thank you."

"Shh, maybe if you don't mention it, she can stay this size forever."

"Knock knock jokes, puns, silly songs and anecdotes," she agreed. "Also, I am a fan of those borderline-groaners they write on Laffy Taffy wrappers. Like...let me see. Oh! How much does it cost for a pirate to pierce his ears? A buc-an-eer!" She mimed a rimshot. "Ba dum tsh."

"Always up to saying hello to my squirmy niece," she said, grinning and taking the girl from Clio. "Hello, you," she said, tapping her nose. "You'll have a little playmate in a little while."

She sat down next to Thalia, "hm yeah same for me. Yet another reason I always pamper Mom when she's around. Had to be terrible. But I'll get that to you when you leave. I'm just glad I brought it. Knew it would come in handy."

"I wish," smiling she kissed Ella's head, "rule number one is never date Apollo. Rule number two is stay away from dad. And overly friendly animals. Are you going to tell him, by the way?"

She rolled her eyes at her sister, "My sister." She grinned to May, "she can teach you jokes. She's the Muse of Comedy."

She was happy to let Thalia fuss over Ella, though she was mindful to make sure her daughter kept calm. "It's going to be adorable. I'm hoping for some ginger." And because boundaries between them had long been erased she grinned, "so, what was it like? I am resisting so many puns, to let you know."

Mairead giggled at the joke, coming a little bit out of her shell. Thalia seemed nice enough. "Muse of comedy. Cool!"

"Right? I can't imagine having all nine of us, seven was bad enough. Ugh. And thank you, seriously."

"Yeah, wish somebody would have told me that," she muttered good-naturedly. "But yes, so much yes to the other two." She sighed, pushing her hair away from her face with her free hand. "I haven't decided yet. He and Prometheus never got along, to put it mildly. I'm sort of worried about how he'll react."

She grinned at Mairead. "It is a pretty cool gig, it's true. I love making people laugh and see them smile. The downside is, the jokes aren't always good, ask Clio."

She cut her eyes sideways at Clio, grinning. "Girl, have you ever been with a sculptor? He knows how to use those hands, let me tell you."

Seeing May smile more made Clio smile. "Want to sit with us May? If you want to listen to the gossip of course." She nodded at Thalia, "no problem and yes I'm always impressed wit that. I only had my three and that was bad enough."

She sighed, "Same here. But no Hyakinthos just had to get his way. I warned him too." She handed Ella a toy and nodded, "I just told him I was to have a daughter, asked for a blessing when she was born and left it at that. Some things he doesn't need to know. Ever. No need to tell him who the dad is. He may not care. We're only girls, even if we're Muses."

Grinning she gave another nod, "the puns are pretty bad." Then she laughed at Thalia, "no never a sculptor. Not a titan either, because KRatos doesn't count."

Mairead's eyebrows raised when they started talking about Titans and their hands and she glanced over at Clio. "Er...okay. I mean you're all talking about sex, right? Probably better to hear it from you than the Saint."

Patrick snorted at that and he headed over to sit as well. "Hey. I'm a cool saint, right, Clio?"

"They were worth it, though," Thalia added. "My stance on that will never change."

"I know you did," she replied. "I may just tell him once I find out the gender. Which will probably be...beginning of December, if I did my math right. And yeah, he may not, but who knows? I might catch him in a good mood. But I think you might be right, if there's one thing he's really good at, it's holding a grudge. I don't need to invite that war into my life, not when things are finally looking up."

She started shaking with quiet laughter. "Yeah, we are. We just have zero boundaries with each other. Sisters, and Greek sisters, to boot." She looked back at Clio. "The elderly lady who lives next door shook her head at me and muttered something about 'living in sin' and 'being inconsiderate of others' when she saw me the next morning. I had to bite my tongue to keep from telling her off. Terribly sorry I don't go to bed at 8, and that I like to have fun." She shrugged, smiling.

She smiled to Patrick and leaned over for a kiss, "you're the coolest Saint love, but you must admit I'm a bit more open about this then you."

She looked to Thalia and went to kiss Ella's cheeks, "it's always worth it. Even if warnings don't help all that much." She listened and it was her sister's choice to make, "just be careful if you have a girl. If he keeps a grudge he won't blink at dragging the baby into that mess. That and you know, it's dad. Gods knows what he ever thinks."

"That and the sixties. That was weird. And being like back home again, almost." She smiled to the memories before raising her eyebrows at her sister. "Oh Gods I hate those people. I'm very happy living in sin thank you. I think Patrick is getting me a free pass though. I think it helps he's a Saint. And I never mind questions May. I honestly don't care what you do as long as you're safe while doing it. And no Olympians, because save for like, one I think, they're all jackasses." She snapped her fingers, "oh no Hephaestus has cleaned up ever since he married again. But he's kind of like Hades now, all monogamous."

"I'm open!" he said, pretending to pout. He honestly didn't care that much.

"I think I'm glad I'm not related to Zeus," Mairead said shaking a little. "I don't really have any questions though. I know enough to know I'm not ready. Penises still have cooties."

At that, Patrick burst out laughing.

"As long as they're healthy, I'll be happy," she replied. "But yeah, I don't ever put anything past him. I don't think I've even spoken to him since he came back to the city."

"Oh god, the sixties," she groaned. "Weird times to be had by one and all."

She rolled her eyes at the memory of her neighbor. "Right? I was really tempted to tell her I thought she sounded very judgey, for someone who claimed to follow a religion all about love and forgiveness. She's wrong anyway, he doesn't even live there." She laughed.

"It's a good thing to not be related to Zeus," she agreed. "But sometimes unavoidable, in our weird pantheon. He had so many kids. I'm pretty sure Clio has a chart somewhere."

She let out her own whoop of laughter. "Some of them do, yes," she agreed.

She laughed to that before leaning over to kiss the top of May's head, "Atta girl. That's the spirit."

She shrugged, "neither have I. And yes I do have a chart. Back when I said I wouldn't sleep with siblings anymore I made it. Helps keep track of it all." She smirked at Thalia, "judgey people are all across the world some days. It's kind of sad. And if there ever was anyone I'd kill to have met. Still so weird. Seeing it all go from many Gods to just one."

She waved her hands, "and now I sound old."

"Nah, you sound awesome," Mairead said with a smile. "And oh man, I can't imagine having so many siblings. Wow."

"Me neither. I have trouble just keeping the ones I do have straight," Patrick said with a nod.

"That was probably a wise move on your part, gods know our family tree doesn't need to bear any more resemblance to the Olympic rings," she said.

"Tell me about it," she muttered. "But Terpscihore's been apartment hunting, she actually sent me a link to a place in Turtle Bay, we're going to go look at it tomorrow. The pictures were gorgeous, she sounded really excited."

"That was really strange," she agreed. "Watching the world shift so radically. Still. They remembered us, and I'm glad. And if you sound old, then do I."

"It can get confusing yeah, and that's just the ones I know of. I'm still convinced Dad gives us more every time he wanders off." She smiled, "and thank you May.

"Let me know when you get everything settled. I'll come help move. I'm sure I can convince Patrick and George to help. And tell Terps she needs to come by for her fussing."

"Of course, I'd love to help!" Patrick perked up. "And George is really strong so he can do lots of heavy lifting!"

"Now that would not surprise me at all, given that it's...you know, Dad," she agreed.

"Once we have the details hammered out, I'll let you know," she promised. "And Terps sends her love, by the way, I would have dragged her along, but she had to go in for new student orientation at the ballet school today. They make her show off for the new kids, or something." She laughed. "Not that she minds too much."
