Just because turning into Lena wouldn't have the desired effect on Maddy, it didn't mean that Dantalion couldn't go and fuck with the other woman. Maddy and Lena had a common link: Thomas. He'd gleaned from Maddy's brain that Lena had basically moved in to help take care of Thomas, and after a pretty short amount of time, too. And that had some decent opportunities for exploiting.

He slipped back into the default blonde girl-skin, heading over to Thomas' apartment. It was a matter of playing the waiting game now, and even if it did chafe him, he could do patient. Maddy didn't have any information about the schedule any of them kept, so he'd gotten a huge coffee and found a bench across the street. He'd wait all day, if he had to.

Dantalion looked up as Lena left Thomas' building, pitching his coffee cup as he fell into step behind her. He was careful to keep a decent distance between them, and he'd had rather a lot of experience doing this over the years.

A block away or so from Lena's, he slipped into an alley and shifted into Thomas. He took special care this time to hide the Hellfire in his eyes, and to make sure his head was shaved like Thomas' currently was. He'd even replicated the scar, because if that wasn't there, they'd see through his act in a minute.

He finished the walk to Lena's and pressed the bell, tapping his toes idly on the pavement.

Confused as to who might be visiting, Lena groaned and pulled herself off of the sofa again. "I'll get it!" she called to Florian, and then she bounced down the steps and pulled the door open.

Finding Thomas on the other side was a shock. "Thomas! Did- Did you come here all alone? You shouldn't be out, you know that!" She was so surprised she forgot to pull him inside.

Dantalion shrugged. "Got antsy," he said, in Thomas' voice. "The walls felt like they were closing in. And yes, it's just me."

"O-okay." It made Lena nervous that he had come here by himself, but he seemed fine. She still had the urge to check him over. "Right, come in. Flo's making tea." She led Thomas inside and then glanced over him with a critical eye. "Are you okay? Did- You didn't drive here did you?"

Dantalion followed her inside, keeping his face mostly neutral. He hadn't counted on whoever 'Flo' was, but Maddy hadn't known, so neither did he. But he could rework it on the fly, he'd been doing this for far too long to be thrown by one surprise human.

"I'm fine," he said. "No, I walked. Got turned around a few times, but I got here OK."

She clicked her tongue at that. "Thomas- I'm glad to see you, but I could have come to get you if you wanted to come out. You know walking around the city isn't a good idea. Anything could happen." With that, she stepped forward, hoping to get him to at least sit down.

When she moved forward, he stepped back. "I'm not a child, Lena," he snapped. "Don't fucking talk to me like one."

Lena jaw dropped at that, and she arched an eyebrow at him. "Thomas," she said firmly, because she refused to be spoken to like that, "you need to calm down right now. I'm just looking out for you. You know you've been confused lately. Come on, sit down." She stepped forward again.

"Tell you what," he said, stepping forward to meet her. "Why don't you back the fuck off, hmm?" He backhanded her across the face in the blink of eye. "God, but you can natter on."

Lena fell sideways, awkwardly stumbling into the sofa. Florian had been heading out of the kitchen with a mug of tea for her in his hands. When he saw Thomas hit his sister, he dropped the mug and dashed forward.

"What the FUCK?" Florian shouted, pushing Thomas backwards.

Lena was too shocked to even say anything. She just stared at both of them, her mouth wide open. Thomas had hit her.

"Get the fuck out of here!" Florian yelled, pushing Thomas towards the door. "Get out!"

Dantalion barely even struggled, throwing a punch at Florian that he knew would miss, just for appearance's sake. He let himself be pushed out the door and onto the street, not even flinching as the door slammed behind him.

He ducked into the same alley a block away, changing back into the blonde girl-skin. He even strutted a little as he walked back to the warehouse he where he was keeping Maddy. Whenever he set her free (which might be sooner rather than later-she was kind of boring, even if her family wasn't), she was going to get dropped squarely back into this mess of drama. And when they told her what her 'brother' had done, how was she ever supposed to look at him the same way again?

Florian went back to Lena's side and took her shaking form into his arms. "He's gone," Florian said, holding her close. "It's okay, he's gone."
