Who: Piper Addison & Lewis Carroll
What: Coffee times!
When: Thursday evening
Where: Their apartment, then some coffee place
Piper had pretty much abandoned her paper once she'd written the two pages she'd told herself she would. Once those were done, she hightailed it into the kitchen. Rummaging in the fridge and cupboards, she found everything she needed to make the skillet tuna casserole she'd found online, and set to chopping and mixing and stirring. Cooking relaxed her, and she fell into the familiar rhythm rather quickly.
She heard movements in the living room and called out, "Charles, is that you?"

She slid into a chair. "Any luck at the flea markets?" she asked.

"I found a few pieces. A beautiful grandfather clock with finger bones for for dial. It's being delivered on Monday."

"Ooh, really?" she asked. "That one I'll have to see, it sounds lovely."
no subject
"The clock is gorgeous, you'll love it. I'm an inch away from buying it myself."

She smiled. "Well then, tuck in, there's plenty," she told him, setting down plates.
"Don't say that, I haven't even seen it and I'm an inch away from enabling you," she said with a laugh.

He watched her, loving the way her lips moved when she smiled. Dangerous thoughts.
"Heh, uhm...found a lot of medical equipment as always. A few antique toys which people always love."
no subject
"We could probably outfit an entire 19th-century hospital," Piper agreed. "What sorts of toys?"

"A few dolls, which continue to terrify me. There's a great train set which people will pay an incredible amount for. Oh, I found the creepiest rocking horse (http://news.bbc.co.uk/media/images/39874000/jpg/_39874699_rockinghorse300200_bbc.jpg). It is going to be the stuff of some poor child's nightmares."
Holy crap, that horse D:
"Remind me to never let you watch the Chucky movies," she told him. "Creepy, murderous dolls. No thank you. And I pity the poor child who ends up with that horse, poor thing will have nightmares for years, it sounds like."
I KNOW WTF!?
IT'S SO CREEPY, OMG
She laughed. "That figures," she said, picking up her now empty plate and carrying it over to the sink. "Are you finished?" she asked. "No worries if not."
The back room of his shop has tons of stuff like that omg
"All finished. Is the cafe on the corner good enough?"
This place needs to exist in rl

I love it!
"I...I've been thinking of the kiss we had," he admitted. "A lot, actually."
